Lisa Olivia Munn was conceived in Oklahoma City. She was the daughter of Kimberly Schmid, lived in Vietnam and has Chinese origin, and her father, Winston Barrett Munn, comes from a family that has deep roots within the American South. Her parents separated when she was just two years old and she was a child of her stepfather and mother, a member of the United States Air Force. The majority of her childhood was spent in Tokyo, Japan, even when the family moved often. In that period, she was involved in many performances of the local theater, and eventually became a Japanese fashion model. As the family retreated back to the United States, Olivia moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream of becoming an actress. In the end, she was able to land a couple of tiny roles on television series with Hawaii lense (such like Beyond the Break), she won the role Mily Acuna, and was offered Rob Schneider's receptionist on Big Stan. She hosts "The Daily Nut" as well as"Formula D" on G4 "Formula D" Podcasts on G4. Following the TV show Beyond the Break, she is still surfing. Additionally, she holds a black belt in Taekwondo. At the age of 2000, as she was two years old older, her mother remarried. Her family was primarily from Tokyo, Japan where her stepfather worked. She completed her journalism studies in the University of Oklahoma and also studied Japanese drama, dramatic arts, and drama.
