Lita Rossana Ford, also called Lita Ford, is an American musician, singer and guitarist who was born in the UK. She played lead guitar in The Runaways, a hard-rock band made up of all girls from the 1970s. Their punkish music and raunchy lyrics made them noticed by the rock community. In 1995 she debuted "Black" and fifteen years later 'Wicked Wonderland. The album she released most recently "Time Capsule," released in 2016. The singer was honored with The Certified Guitar Legend Award by the Guitar Player Magazine.
