Cassandra Monique Batie known professionally as Andra Day is an American R&B and soul vocalist songwriter and actress. Her awards include a Grammy Award as well as the Children's and Family Emmy Award and a Golden Globe Award. She was also nominated to win the Academy Award. Andra isn't only an old-fashioned R&B performer, but her gospel blues and jazz are displayed in a way which is effortless as well as stylish. Her debut single Cheers to Fall (2015) has topped the hiphop/R&B charts, and her contributions to Marshall (2017) earned her an award including a Grammy Award and Academy Award. The track was soon taken up by DJs, who started broadcasting it to the radio. The album she released her debut Cheers To The Fall (2015) was recorded by Adrian Gurvitz. She signed with Warner Bros. Records. It included Rise Up, which has become an international song of the social justice movement. Day earned 2 Grammy nominations for her album which included Best R&B Album. The United States Versus Billie Holiday is her second album, released in 2019 and an album that was conceptually based on the life of Billie Holiday. The same year, she was a part-time actress in a biopic about Holiday's life, The United States vs. Billie Holiday (2021). Andi Mathichak was born and raised in the United States. She first appeared in the film Halloween as Allyson After appearing on various television shows, including Orange Is the New Black (Orange Is the New Black), 666 Park Avenue (666 Park Avenue), Blue Bloods as well as Orange is the new black. Andi Matichak, an American actress was born in Framingham Massachusetts on 3 May 1994.
