Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise has been a writer, singer, and actress in America for more than forty years. She is most famous for her character Ginger Grant (in the 60s TV series Gilligan's Island). In the 1950s, she started her professional career as an actor on stage in Bettle Davis' musical Two's Company. In the following years, she appeared in many Broadway productions, before becoming huge in the national theater space with Li'l Abner' in the year 1957. In 1957, she made her debut album called It's time for Tina. Louise began the first phase of her Hollywood career in 1958, in which she portrayed Griselda Walden in God's Small Acre, a drama film. It was an enormous hit and Louise was awarded the Golden Globe Award for the New Star of the Years category. Louise enrolled in Actors Studio, New York at the time, and later became Lee Strasberg's pupil. The actress joined CBS in 1964 as Ginger Grant. Louise Balfour managed to move between Broadway as well as Hollywood playing a somber, sombre character contrast to her image of the glamorous model. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. The series starred her as SG-1's Helen Magnus and Sanctuary. But, over the last few years she also became a well-known director for popular TV shows such as Supernatural as well as The 100. She was born on the 28th of August, 1965, in Essex. At the age of 3years old, her family moved her to Toronto in Canada where she spent in the city for her entire childhood. Her home was in Vancouver after she was selected for the role of Samantha Carter.
